イスラエルの民は自分たちが悪いことをしていると分かっていたも
それでもティモシーは、
We started at 7:30, and we read 2 Kings 24 and 25. The participants were Hiyori, Akari, Emiri, Timothy, and Seiyu.Hiyori learned that God always gives his people a chance to turn back to him, and she thought it was interesting how in chapter 25, God allowed the people to be captured by the Babylonians, which shows that God’s mercy has limits. She also learned that continuously doing things that God dislikes has consequences.
Regarding her week, she shared that she enjoyed the hiking activity the most. Akari shared that from a third-person view of the events of chapters 24 & 25, it makes sense why God was so mad. She shared that the Israelites knew that they were doing bad things but didn’t realize it as they were stubborn and thought they were right. She also shared that it is important to humble yourself in situations where you know you’re in the wrong but won’t accept it. Regarding her week, she shared that the drone show was interesting, but she felt like the presentation of the show could’ve been better. Emiri learned that it is not good to have a false sense of security just because she goes to church, but rather it is important to attentively listen to God’s word and to take action.
She shared that the July 4th activities were fun and that it was nice how Faith was able to hike with us. Timothy shared that in chapter 24, verse 4, when it states that Manasseh shed too much innocent blood, which displeased God, it made him realize how much God dislikes shedding innocent blood. Yet, he decided to sacrifice Jesus for humanity, who had innocent blood as he was sinless. He shared that he enjoyed yesterday’s barbeque. I learned that Jesus is the answer to everything, as he was able to save humanity and bring people to God, which was what the kings in the Old Testament weren’t able to do as they chose to follow idols. I also shared that I enjoyed the barbeque, as it was nice talking and cooking with everyone.
