7/31:
Time: 10:00 – 10:20
Passage: 1 Chronicles 18
What We Learned:
I want to learn from David’s example of how he dedicated everything to God. Whatever he did, he always did it for God and for his people, that they may live in peace.
Kana learned about the relationship David had with God and how he always trusted God to provide for him.
8/5
Time: 10 – 10:25
Passage: 1 Chronicles 19 – 20
What We Learned:
We both talked about how in ch. 19, Hanun listened to human words and as a result, his initial judgement was poor as he misunderstood David’s empathy as a way for David to take advantage of him and try to take over his land. From this, I learned how important it is to have the wisdom of God. Because if you don’t, you will not end up making the right decision. If Hanun was to trust David, that could still be a dangerous way of going about because it is not smart to trust people all the time in this world, unfortunately. I kind of have a habit of doing this. Therefore, I learned that the wisdom of God is the only way you can determine properly what the right thing to do is in any scenario.
Our Week:
Some of the youth gathered together in person for practice at the Narikawa house, so I asked Kana if she did anything fun with them after our practice. She said they just practiced once again, chatted a little, and left.

I shared about my experience for my college’s student orientation, I had a great time!
