We started at 7:30 p.m., and the participants were Akari, Hiyori, Emiri, Tomas, and Seiyu. Timothy didn’t join today.
We read 2 Chronicles chapters 24 and 25. Akari was reminded from chapter 24, verse 9, that everything in the world belongs to God. She said that she didn’t truly know this truth until today. She shared that she built Minori and Juri’s bunk bed and that she enjoys building furniture. Hiyori learned from chapter 25, verse 2, about the importance of following God wholeheartedly. She also learned that actions are just as important as having the right heart. She shared that she practiced playing the guitar this week. Emiri learned from chapter 25, verse 20, that once God abandons you, bad things will begin to happen. She learned the importance of taking God’s word seriously and learning from mistakes. She shared that she learned about the law of osmosis in her biology class. Tomas didn’t have anything to share from today’s chapters. He shared that he went to Disneyland for his orchestra class and that they practiced playing songs from Disney movies such as Up. I learned about the importance of not being self complacent and being humble as pride led to King Amaziah’s downfall. I shared that I watched the new Chainsaw Man movie with my mom and sister.
