In chapter 2 of this week’s bible reading, Nehemiah spoke to the king about what he wants, which was to go back to Jerusalem and rebuilt the city. He put into words what he wanted so he was able to go back and rebuild the city. In addition to that he also asked for a letter written by the king so he can travel safely to Judah, and materials to be given to him. None of this would have happened if he stayed quiet when the king asked him what was wrong. Applying this to my life, I learned again the importance of expressing your desires, Nehemiah expressed himself before the king, so God was able to give him what he had asked for, and in the same way I should express what I think and want.
Timothy:
In chapter 4 of this week’s Bible reading, we read how many people opposed rebuilding the walls and how Sabballat and Tobiah insulted the builders. The people built the walls “with all their heart” (v.6), but as the opposition plotted to fight against Jerusalem, the people became afraid. Nehemiah encouraged them, saying “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families…”(v.13) and that “Our God will fight for us!” (v.19). Applying this to my life, I learned to do things with all my heart, despite any opposition I might face, whether it be at school, home, church, while passing out tracts, etc. The Israelites were scared of the opposition, but when they were reminded that God was with them and would fight for them, they were able to resume the rebuilding.
Tomas:
This week’s Bible reading, I learned Nehemiah’s prayers to God in Chapter 1 and 2. Applying this to my life, I should know that God is with me no matter what and should pray to him when most needed. Example, for the safety of my relatives and as well as school since I am about to start school and want God to guide me in that as well. Also in guitar and playing the viola.

今週の聖書の朗読で学んだことは、
・4章の14節の人たちが環境を見てそれを恐れてしまうということが起きました、しかし、その後に「環境を恐れるのではなく、大いなる恐るべき主を覚えよ」ということが書かれていました、これを見て自分の周りを見てそれを恐れていくのではなく、主に対しての恐れをもっともっと持っていきます
・4章の14節の「自分たちの兄弟、息子、娘、妻、また家のもののために戦いなさい」というところで、自分、自分という考えではなく、他のもののためにするということをまた深く学ぶことができました
よしや：
ネヘミヤがエルサレムに行くまでに起きた事が興味深かった。
せっかくエルサレムに帰って来れたのに散々な状況になっていることを聞いたネヘミヤ、
「これを聞いて、わたしは座り込んで泣き、幾日も嘆き、食を断ち、天にいます神に祈りをささげた。」
ネヘミヤ 1:4
まず、神様に祈りを捧げる。
「すると王は、「何を望んでいるのか」と言った。わたしは天にいます神に祈って、」
ネヘミヤ 2:4
次に神様が人を遣わして願いを聞いて下さる。
このように城壁再建の準備がされたが、邪魔してくる人々がいる。そのような人々に対し、毅然とした態度で接し、神に彼らの悪を滅ぼすように願った。めっちゃかっこいい。
そして、妨害によりたとえ建設中であっても彼らは武装するようになった。これは学校で勉強している時も、武具、すなわち神の武具を身につけよということだと思う。
ユダの人々は苦しい状況にあったが、それでも奮起し城壁の再建をした。苦しい時に神様は必ず働いてくださる。

本当めっちゃかっこいいね。👍ヨシヤは頭だけを通してじゃなく、霊を通して神様の声をキャッチしてるのがよく分かるね。
皆んな、ネヘミヤ５：１４−１８のところから、何か学んだかな？ただで何かもらえたとか、奢ってもらった、とかで、「神様の祝福だ！」と喜んでるのは、まだまだレベルが低いのわかるかな？神様に使われる器を目指すなら、ネヘミヤのように、自分が当然貰うべき報いすらも人に与えるものになる必要がある。少しでもこういう考え方に成長しましょう！
テモテ、文雲だけがまだ出してないから、リマインドのメールを送ってください。私とまさみもccに入れて。毎週誰が出して、誰がまだ出してないかをいつもチェックして、出してない子には、必ずメールしてあげてください。テキストやラインでもいいよ、ただ出来れば、ジュンとまさみの名前も入れて連絡とって。出来るかな？もちろん、必要な時は、私やまさみもフォローします。
これから、学校始まるから、毎週の聖書通読の締切を、ロス時間の夜８時に変えます。日本時間では、土曜日のお昼（１２時）になります。これなら皆んな大丈夫かな？
Tomas, from now on, since school starts, the deadline for writing the email reports about what you learned from Bible reading will be 8:00 pm on Fridays (instead of 10 am). Hopefully, this will make it easier to do it.

ロスは今日は金曜の夜で明日の土曜日礼拝の準備とかで色々やることあるから、こっちの明日以降に返事を入れると思う。
