今日はエズラ記2章ではなく3章を読みました。2章は主に名前と系図について書かれていたからです。参加者は、えみり、あかり、ひより、トマス、テモテ、そしてせいゆでした。
えみりは、恐れや不安に惑わされて神様のためにやりたいことを諦めてはいけないことを学びました。ユースとジュニアのグループと一緒にバルボア湖に行ったこと、スワンボートを漕いで足が痛くなったことを話しました。
あかりは、今日の運動会が楽しかったこと、そして感謝祭にアップルパイを作ったことを話しました。ひよりは、常に感謝することの大切さを学び、神様が家族に新しい家を与えてくださったことに感謝していると語りました。感謝祭にはお母さんの料理を手伝い、学校の課題に取り組んだことを話しました。
トマスは感謝祭にタッドの家に行ったことを話しました。 テモテは寝てしまって話せませんでした。私は、感情に流されて行動してはいけないことを学びました。私たちは明日の引っ越しについて祈り、数分間異言で祈りました。
Today, we read Ezra 3 instead of Ezra 2, as chapter 2 mostly consisted of names and genealogies. The participants were Emiri, Akari, Hiyori, Tomas, Timothy, and Seiyu.
Emiri learned that she shouldn’t let fear or worry get in the way of things she wants to do for God. She shared about going to Lake Balboa with the youth and junior group, and how her feet hurt from pedaling the swan boat.
Akari shared that today’s sports day was fun and that she made apple pie for Thanksgiving. Hiyori learned about the importance of being thankful at all times, and she’s thankful that God gave her family a new house. She shared that she helped her mom make food on Thanksgiving and worked on her school project.
Tomas shared that he went to Tad’s house for Thanksgiving. Timothy couldn’t share because he fell asleep. I learned that you shouldn’t act based on your emotions. We prayed about tomorrow’s move, and we prayed in tongues for a few minutes.
