午後７時半から聖書朗読会が始まり、参加者はひより、あかり、えみり、トーマス、そして聖悠さんでした。私たちは歴代誌下１１章と１２章を読みました。あかりは、アビヤがダビデと似ていることを学びました。二人とも神が救ってくださると確信していたからです。また、自分自身ではなく神に信頼を置くべきだということも学びました。ひよりは、どんな状況にあっても謙虚であること、そして神の側に立つことの大切さを学びました。集中ライティングクラスでプロジェクトに取り組み始めたことを共有してくれました。トーマスは、謙虚であること、そして間違いを犯したときに神に悔い改めることの大切さを学びました。また、神に祝福された後には、神に感謝し、賛美することの大切さも学びました。
今週の出来事について、トーマスは昨日、母親と一緒に空港で父親を迎えに行ったことを共有してくれました。えみりは、１２章７節から謙虚さについて学び、それが悔い改めの一部であることを学びました。今週の出来事について、彼女は昼食に弁当を作り始めたこと、金曜日に唐揚げを食べたことを話してくれました。そして、とても美味しかったと言っていました。私は、自分の信念を貫くことは強さであり、信仰を堅固に守るべきだと学びました。私は来週から教習所で運転の教習を受け始めることを話しました。
We started reading at 7:30 pm, and the participants were Hiyori, Akari, Emiri, Tomas, and Seiyu. We read 2 Chronicles 11 and 12. Akari learns that Abijah was similar to David, as they both had confidence that God would deliver them. She also learned that she shouldn’t put confidence in herself but in God. Hiyori learned about the importance of being humble and staying on God’s side despite your circumstances. She shared that she started working on a project in her intensive writing class. Tomas learned about the importance of being humble and repenting to God when you make mistakes. He also learned about the importance of thanking God and praising him after he blesses you. Regarding his week, he shared that he and his Mom picked up his Dad yesterday from the airport. Emiri also learned about humbleness from chapter 12 verse 7 and that it is part of repentance. Regarding her week, she shared that she started packing bento boxes for lunch and that she had karaage on Friday. She also said that it was delicious. I learned that standing firm in what you believe is a strength and that you should also stand firm in your faith. I shared that I will start taking driving lessons next week from a driving instructor.
