We started at 7:30 pm, and the participants were Emiri, Hiyori, Akari, Timothy, and Seiyu. Tomas couldn’t join because he had a spring concert. We read 2 Kings 5 today, and Hiyori learned that after Naaman was healed, he knew who the real God was, as there were many idols during that time. She also learned that it’s important that your heart is in the right place, and she said that when she goes to service and worship, her heart should be in the right place. Regarding her week, she shared that she went to take care of her cats at her other house and that she’s currently preparing for her summer classes.
Akari learned that God cares about all humans on Earth and that he has a plan for everyone. She also added that it was part of God’s plan for Naaman to be healed. Regarding her week, she said that she’s making various crafts. Emiri learned that it is important to not only think about what you receive and gain and to not have a greedy mindset. She also added that Gehazi’s greedy mindset led to his downfall. She said that she’s currently working on 3 big projects.
Timothy thought it was interesting how the young slave girl decided to help Naaman, and she was key to Naaman’s salvation. He also added that he should be like the young slave girl. Regarding his week, he said that he has one final project. I learned that because Naaman put his pride aside, he was able to be healed by God. I also learned that it’s important to be humble and to not think that you are better than others.
