5/24 Evening Bible Reading

午後７時半から聖書朗読が始まり、ティモシー、ひより、あかり、えみり、トーマス、そしてせいゆが参加しました。列王記下６章と７章を読み、ひよりは、シリア軍が残した食料と物資に関する知らせを４人のハンセン病患者が伝えたように、良い知らせを自分だけで抱え込まず、他の人と分かち合うことの大切さを学びました。また、良い知らせを伝えることで、他の人のために良いことをする時が来たと話しました。金曜日には、じゅりとみのりのコンサートに行き、みのりが聖歌隊で歌い、じゅりがウクレレを演奏したと話しました。コンサートはとても楽しかったと話していました。

あかりは、神の言葉を信じることの大切さを学びました。まさみ先生の言葉や説教を心から信じ、受け入れることが大切だと話しました。高校時代の友人に会って、公園でバレーボールをしたと話しました。彼女は、友達が皆違う大学に進学しているので、様々な大学制度について聞くのが面白かったと話しました。

トーマスは、周りの人たちに神の言葉を分かち合うことが大切だと学びました。今週はオーケストラの最後のコンサートがあり、２つの小学校で演奏したと話しました。また、コンサート中に父親がピアノコンサートと教会について話してくれたことについても話しました。

ティモシーは、霊的に起こっていることは私たちが目にするものとは違うこと、そして神が自分と共にいて守ってくれていることを心に留めておくことが大切だと学びました。また、聖書の言葉について深く考えることも大切だと学びました。

エミリは、アラム人がサマリアに連れてこられたとき、エリシャは彼らを殺さず、代わりに食べ物と水を与えたことを学びました。このことを通して、神は慈悲深く、私たちに恵みを与えてくださることを学びました。今週の出来事としては、トランプ大統領の関税に関するプレゼンテーションがあったと話しました。彼女はまた、プレゼンテーションにはゲームも付いていて、クラスメートたちがプレゼンテーションに合わせて様々なゲームを準備しているのを見るのが楽しかったと話してくれました。

私は、ハンセン病患者が福音を他の人々と分かち合ったように、神様は私たちが祝福を他の人々と分かち合うことを望んでおられることを学びました。神様が与えてくださった家を使って他の人々をもてなすように、神様は私たちに与えられた祝福を他の人々のために使うことを望んでおられることを学びました。

We started reading at 7:30 pm, and the participants were Timothy, Hiyori, Akari, Emiri, Tomas, and Seiyu. We read 2 Kings 6 and 7, and Hiyori learned that it’s important for her to share the good news with others and not keep it to herself, like how the 4 lepers decided to share the news about food and supplies the Syrian army left. She also shared that it’s time for her to do good for others by sharing the good news. On Friday, she went to Juri and Minori’s concert, and she shared that Minori sang with a choir and Juri played ukulele. She said the concert was interesting.

Akari learned about the importance of believing the word of God. She shared that it’s important for her to fully believe and accept the words she hears from Masami-sensei and the sermons. She shared that she saw friends from high school, and they played volleyball at the park. She shared that it was interesting hearing about the different college systems, as her friends all go to different colleges.

Tomas learned that it’s important for him to share God’s word with the people around him. He shared that this week he had his last concert for orchestra and that he performed for two elementary schools. He also talked about how his dad shared about the piano concert and the church during his concert.

Timothy learned that what’s occurring spiritually is different from what we see and that it’s important for him to keep in mind that God is with him and protecting him. He also learned that it’s important for him to consider what the Bible says.

Emiri learned that when the Arameans were brought to Samaria, Elisha didn’t have them killed, and instead he gave them food and water. Through this, she learned that God is merciful and provides for us. Regarding her week, she shared that she had a presentation on Trump’s tariffs. She also shared that the presentation came with a game, and it was fun to see the different games that her classmates prepared along with their presentations.

I learned that God wants us to share our blessings with others, like how the lepers shared the good news with others. I learned that he wants us to use the blessings he granted us for others, like using a house that God gave you to provide hospitality for others.
