今日は午後7時半から聖書朗読会が始まり、歴代誌下35章とエズラ記1章を読みました。参加者は、ひより、あかり、えみり、トーマス、そして聖友でした。
ティモシーは今日は参加しませんでした。あかりは、神がイスラエルの民を憐れみ、ペルシャ王キュロスを用いて神殿を再建されたことを学びました。このことから、あかりは神は誰でも用いることができることを学びました。また、昨日の樹里の誕生日に、側面にリボンをあしらったチョコレートケーキを作ったことも話しました。
トーマスは、謙虚になり、神の言葉を真剣に受け止めることの大切さを学びました。彼は分かち合いの後、両親と映画館で「ウィキッド：フォー・グッド」という映画を見るため、電話を切りました。ひよりは、神に用いられるためには、クリスチャンとして行動を起こすことが大切であることを学びました。彼女は、キネシオロジーの授業で運動と健康維持に関するパンフレットを作ったことを話しました。
えみりは、神の言葉は常に成就することを学びました。彼女は高校で「パウダーパフ」というイベントがあって、女子はフットボール、男子はチアリーダーをするんだと話してくれました。また、感謝祭休暇前に先生たちが宿題をたくさん詰め込んでいるように感じて、今週は忙しかったと話してくれました。神様はすべてのことに計画を持っておられ、すべての計画に完璧なタイミングがあることを学びました。今日は宿題をして、たこ焼きを焼いて、ジムに行ったと話しました。その後、明日の礼拝と持ち寄りパーティーについて祈り、少しの間異言で祈りました。
Today, we started reading at 7:30 PM, and we read 2 Chronicles 35 and Ezra 1. The participants were Hiyori, Akari, Emiri, Tomas, and Seiyu. Timothy didn’t join today. Akari learned that God had pity on the Israelites and that God used Cyrus, king of Persia, to rebuild God’s temple. From this, she learned that God can use anyone. She also shared that she made a chocolate cake with a ribbon design on the sides for Juri’s birthday yesterday.
Tomas learned about the importance of humbling oneself and taking God’s word seriously. He left the call after sharing because he was going to watch a movie called Wicked: For Good in theaters with his parents. Hiyori learned that it is important to take action as a Christian so that God can use you. She shared that she made a brochure about exercise and staying fit for her Kinesiology class.
Emiri learned that God’s word will always be fulfilled. She shared that there was an event called Powder Puff at her high school, where the girls play football and the boys cheerlead. She also shared that this week was busy because she felt like her teachers were cramming a lot of homework in before Thanksgiving break. I learned that God has a plan for everything and that He has a perfect timing for every plan. I shared that I did homework, made takoyaki, and went to the gym today. Afterward, we prayed about tomorrow’s service and potluck, and we prayed in tongues for a little while.
