今日は午後７時半から聖書朗読が始まり、全員が参加しました。
歴代誌下１８章と１９章を読み、ひよりは、私たちは常にこの世に従うか神の言葉に従うかという選択を迫られていることを学びました。ひよりは今週、ギターの練習と宿題をしたと話してくれました。
えみりは、周りの人の言うことにいつも従うのではなく、妥協しないことを学びました。えみりは今日、生物学の勉強をしたと話してくれました。テニスの試合や練習で今週は生物学の授業を欠席していたので、良い復習になったと話してくれました。
あかりは、神のご性質と、ヨシャパテへの神の慈悲について学びました。また、神はすべての人を訓練し、成長を見たいと願っておられることを学びました。今週の出来事として、かぎ針編みの練習をし、様々な模様の作り方を研究したと話してくれました。ティモシーは今日は何も話しませんでした。
トーマスは今日の章から、しつけを侮辱と捉えるのではなく、自分自身を成長させる機会と捉えることを学びました。彼は、両親が車で１時間かけて歯医者まで行ったのに、結局予約がキャンセルになったと話してくれました。
人の言葉を鵜呑みにせず、良心を頼りに正しい行動を決めることが大切だと学びました。今週、母と一緒に運転の練習をしたと話しました。
Today, we started reading at 7:30 pm, and everyone participated today.
We read 2 Chronicles 18 & 19, and Hiyori learned that we are always given the choice of following the world or God’s word, and she shared that she practiced guitar and did homework this week.
Emiri learned to not always follow what the people around her are saying and to not compromise. She shared that she studied biology today and that it was a good refresher for her, as she missed some of her biology classes during the week due to tennis matches and practice.
Akari learned more about the character of God and how he was merciful to Jehoshaphat. She also learned that God wants to train everyone and see growth. Regarding her week, she shared that she practiced crocheting and she explored different ways to create patterns. Timothy didn’t share anything today.
Tomas learned from today’s chapter to not think of discipline as an insult and to think of it as an opportunity to improve yourself. He shared that his parents drove an hour to the dentist, but the appointment ended up being cancelled by the dentist.
I learned that it is important to take people’s words with a grain of salt and to use your conscience when deciding the right thing to do. I shared that I practiced driving with my mom this week.
