2 Chronicles 20-21
I shared how I’ve been learning recently about how whenever I may come into times of difficulty, instead of panicking, I should always remember what God has done for me up until that point. God is the same, he never changes. By remembering these truths, it reminds me of who God is and helps me to have faith. During these times, I’ve learned how important it is to confess positively and Thank God that he has already taken care of the situation (something I learned even more about from Sunday’s service about how powerful the mouth is)
Kanami shared about how she’s been learning and experiencing about how powerful God’s word is. In order to have the word become true in her life more, she wants to continue to live and act the right way. In addition, she shared how she’s been learning how important it is to always Thank God for everything that he has done in her life. And not just thank, but also share his goodness to others.
Last Week:
A couple weeks ago, Kanami mentioned how she was trying to meet up with her friend from middle school. Last week, they were able to meet and had brunch together. During this time, she was able to share with her everything that she does with the youth group, such as the newsletter.
I shared about a movie I watched, called Sicario.

2 Chronicles 22
Today, we were a bit confused after reading the chapter as to what was going on, so we had to kind of go back and re-read and summarize everything that happened. Kanami wondered if Ahaziah had anybody that tried to help him/point him towards the right direction in his life. We were a bit confused so we went back to Kings to see if Ahaziah had appeared there and found out that he was in the last chapter of 1 kings and the beginning of 2 kings. After briefly skimming through both chapters, things finally started making a bit more sense.
From here, we learned how much influence the people in your life (parents, friends, advisors, etc) can have in your life. It can determine your perspective on what is right and wrong. If raised the wrong way, you may begin to think the wrong things are right and vice versa.
Therefore, I have been learning how God is my one true father so it is him that I should always go to first. What Masami-san has taught me has set me free from being under my parent’s shadow as there have been many times where I was being influenced/led in the wrong way. With her help, God has opened my eyes on what is truly right, there were many things that I thought were right but were really wrong. This has helped me to develop my self-identity and be able to act according to my own desires without being afraid of what my parents will say.

私は最近、困難な状況に陥った時、慌てるのではなく、神がその時まで私のために何をしてくださったかを常に思い出すべきだと学んできたことを話しました。神は変わらず、決して変わることはありません。これらの真理を思い出すことで、神がどのような方であるかを思い出し、信仰を持つ助けとなります。このような時、私は前向きに告白し、神がすでに状況を解決してくださったことに感謝することがどれほど大切かを学びました（日曜日の礼拝で、口の力についてさらに深く学びました）。
かなみさんは、神の言葉の力強さについて学び、経験してきたことを話しました。神の言葉が自分の人生でより真実となるように、彼女はこれからも正しい生き方と行いを続けたいと願っています。さらに、彼女は、神が自分の人生でしてくださったすべてのことに対して、常に感謝することがどれほど大切かを学んできたことを話しました。そして、感謝するだけでなく、神の恵みを他の人と分かち合うことも大切だと話しました。
先週：
数週間前、カナミは中学校時代の友人と会おうとしていると話していました。先週、二人は会って一緒にブランチを楽しみました。その際に、カナミはユースグループで行っている活動、例えばニュースレターの発行などについて、彼女と話すことができました。
私は「ボーダーライン」という映画を観たことについて話しました。

今日、私たちはその章を読んだ後、何が起こっているのか少し分からなかったので、戻ってもう一度読み直し、起こったことを要約する必要がありました。カナミは、アハズヤを助け、人生の正しい方向へと導こうとした人がいたのだろうかと考えました。私たちは少し混乱していたので、列王記に戻ってアハズヤが登場するかどうかを確認しました。すると、列王記上の最後の章と列王記下の最初の章に登場していることが分かりました。両方の章をざっと目を通した後、ようやく少し理解が深まりました。
ここから、人生における人々（両親、友人、アドバイザーなど）が人生にどれほど大きな影響を与えるかを学びました。それは、何が正しいか、何が間違っているかというあなたの見方を決定づけることもあります。間違った育てられ方をすると、間違ったことが正しいと思い込み始め、逆に正しいことが間違ったことのように思えてしまうかもしれません。
ですから、私は神様が私の唯一の真の父であり、常に真っ先に神様に頼るべきであることを学んできました。マサミさんが教えてくれたことで、私は両親の影に囚われていた状態から解放されました。これまで何度も間違った影響を受け、導かれてきたからです。マサミさんの助けによって、神様は真に正しいことに目を向けさせてくれました。正しいと思っていたことが、実は間違っていたこともたくさんありました。おかげで、私は自分のアイデンティティを育み、両親の言葉を恐れることなく、自分の望みに従って行動できるようになりました。
今週の出来事：
カナミは昨日、キャットとウランと一緒にターゲットとマーシャルズに行った話をしてくれました。
昨日、セイユウとヒヨリと一緒にギターを練習したことと、今日初めてのテストを受けることをシェアしました。
