We started reading at 7:30 p.m., and the participants were Hiyori, Akari, Emiri, Tomas, and Seiyu. Timothy didn’t join today.
We read 2 Chronicles 26. Hiyori learned from verse 16 that humans easily become prideful when they succeed in something. She shared that she studied for her classes this week. Akari learned that the reign of humans doesn’t go well most of the time because people become selfish and prideful. She also added that asking God for guidance is key. She mentioned that one of her group partners was from the same freshman orientation she attended. Tomas shared about his week and mentioned that he started helping at his music teacher’s school today. Emiri learned that most of the kings were prideful, which led to their downfalls. She added that it is important to put yourself under God and not above Him. She shared that on Monday, she practiced with her tennis friends. I learned not to let my emotions dictate my actions as King Uzziah’s emotions led to his decision to not listen to God.
